Description
Join the San Jose State University Symphony Orchestra in a celebration of the music of Italian composers! The program will open with Rossini’s sparkling La scala di seta overture (Silken Ladder) followed by Vivaldi’s virtuosic Concerto in e minor for bassoon featuring Bay area bassoonist and SJSU faculty member Carolyn Lockhart. The program will close with Respighi’s La Boutique Fantasque, a rousing arrangement and orchestration of the music of Rossini.More Info
