Tony & Emmy Award Winning Choreographer Twyla Tharp discusses how good collaborators aren’t born, they’re made. Or to be precise, built, a day at a time, through practice, discipline, commitment, and passion—and most of all, through habit.She explores how the art of working with others is the building block of collaboration in any field and cites specific examples of how collaborative learning is replacing head-to-head competition in education and how in business the best leaders are no longer charismatic CEO’s but inspirational team-builders.
Tharp will talk about her some of her best known collaborations with gifted artists like Mikhail Baryshnikov, Billy Joel, Milo Forman, and Elvis Costello and offers advice and life lessons from her extensive forty year career.
