As a band, you know you’ve arrived when your 14 year old song finds its way onto videogames like “Band Hero” and “Karaoke Revolution.” Tonic reached number 11 on the Billboard Charts in 1996 with the alternative rock single “If you could only see,” and now it’s made a return to stardom to a new generation of would be rock gods via the Playstation. They’ve also got a new album, their first in eight years. It isn’t a grand departure from the slick, distorted, crooning, post-grunge songs that made them famous in the 90’s, though they have mellowed out a little and given their songs a more uplifting feel.
