Lisa Bautista of JFM Presents will host Thursday Funk @ Poleng Lounge, featuring live performances by select artists on the JFM Presents' music roster and DJ Miguel Fonseca spinning "The Minneapolis Sounds," which is music by Prince, The Time, Vanity 6, Mazarati, The Family, Jessie Johnson, et al. Thursday Funk @ Poleng Lounge is where The Beautiful Ones seek enlightenment through that which unites them: Funk. "Funk" is more than a state of mind. Being funky is a lifestyle, as exhibited through music and fashion. "Being funky is about taking risks and not being afraid to get a stare or two from people who wish they could be as funky as you."
