Description
There's a reason San Francisco's the She's were recently on the cover of the SF Bay Guardian. Sure, they play some ultra catchy, Beach Boys-style surf-pop-and do it well. And they balance syrupy-sweet songwriting with just the right amount of tart. But that's not it. These girls, who are barely out of high school, are just regular girls-not that pseudo-"girl next store" or put-a-pair-of-glasses on a model nonsense, but actual normal, somewhat geeky girls, who are nothing if not totally sincere. They know how to pen a good tune and deliver wonderful harmonies. What else could you want?
