Born to break all conventions, local rockers The Rivals have been bringing ear-splitting punk-rock to the Bay Area scene for over a decade. Led by maniacal wild man Matt Reed on vocals, the group loves nothing more than all-out bedlam, with plenty of voltage to spare. The Rivals have been staging a popular Halloween hardcore rock party at Blank Club for nine years now. This year's lineup includes Jonny Manak and the Depressives, Relapse and Los Bastardos de Amor.
