What is Luxury Soul? You may ask yourself.
It is a hand picked collection of modern soul spanning the entire modern soul era from 1970 until now. It tends to include the underplayed, un-covered or newly discovered gems delicately chosen for the discerning soul music connoisseur. We are aware of the classics and limited commercial playlists. All great quality stuff but admittedly tiresome for progressive soul music lovers who remain unimpressed by most clubs and radio play in the USA. If you long for the vibe of yore as may be found in the acid jazz era, when underground soul music was shared by djs, parties and performers, you'll dig Luxury Soul!
