They have headlined over 400 shows in the past 4 years. the New Deal inspires audiences of all kinds, from packed dance clubs across North America, to spellbound receptions during opening tours with Herbie Hancock and Page McConnell from Phish.the New Deal, a pioneer of the "livetronica" sound and a mainstay in both the Electronic and Jamband scenes for close to eight years, was recently faced with the possibility of having to cancel their 2007 California tour due to Dan Kurtz's increasingly busy schedule with his new pop project Dragonette."
