The Morgan Hill Summer Jam 2012 will feature free performances by Four Way Free (South California), The Fast Lane Band (Morgan Hill), Cadent (San Francisco), Just Chill (Morgan Hill), and Time and Pressure (San Martin).
The Morgan Hill Summer Jam 2012 festival features local music in the genres of rock, blues, rockabilly, acoustic, funk and more. It was mainly formed by the Morgan Hill Downtown Association.
Four Way Free are the headliners of the festival. This show will also be their farewell show. The members are from both the Bay Area and SoCal. The band has played in large venues across the state like The Roxy, House of Blues, and more.
The Fast Lane Band is a 5-piece band from Morgan Hill. The singer, Patty Curtis, draws influences from a wide array, from Joan Jett to Peggy Lee. The band has been playing together for seven years.
Cadent is a rock/pop band from San Francisco, fronted by vocalist Nichole Cherri. They released their first album this year, Tabula Rasa. Before they have played in many venues in the Bay Area, including a few appearances at the X-Bar at Homestead Lanes.
Just Chill is a reggae band from Morgan Hill. They first formed in 2009 by brothers Kyle and Spencer Moore along with childhood friend Ray Uini.Since then they have played alongside some big names like Pepper, The Expendables, and more.
Time and Pressure is a rock band from San Martin, fronted by lead man Abraham Garcia. The members have been playing music for years before they were able to create a full band two years ago. Since then they have played all across the Bay Area.
