A retelling of Homer's epic poem.

Odysseus—Douglas Kenning, storyteller and popular professor of Greek Theater and Myth—is ten years lost at sea. He tells a story of violence, mystery, disaster, and cunning; at once a veteran's homecoming, a return to the beloved, and a humbled return to the self.

Penelope—performance poet Patti Trimble—is alone at night. She weaves and unweaves the fabric of heroism with twenty spoken poems, threading in a woman's point of view.

The Koros—vocalists Devi Mathieu, Julia Norton, and Irina Mikhailova—sing as the sirens, speak as the gods, wail as the dead.

Musicians Clark Welsh and Vince Delgado evoke ancient melody on floyera, bouzouki, nay, arghul, duduk, zurna, darabuka, kanoon, and defi.
