The ace musicians of The Mont Alto Motion Picture Orchestra return to celebrate the Rafael’s 10th anniversary, performing for a classic Harold Lloyd comedy presented in a beautiful 35mm print.In The Kid Brother (1927), one of Harold Lloyd’s best silents, the agile comedian plays Harold Hickory, youngest son of a rural sheriff, whose resourcefulness comes in handy as he woos a beauty (Jobyna Ralston) from a traveling medicine show and sets out to clear his dad’s reputation after the town’s funds go missing. Beautifully photographed and extremely funny, The Kid Brother is peerless for laughs and also features one of the screen’s most priceless performances by a monkey.
