After the Heavy took San Jose by storm at a Blank Club show in 2010, they took one of our promising musical talents, when South Bay singer/songwriter Jen Chambers of Suicidal Barfly married the band’s drummer, Chris Ellul.The funky U.K. neo-soul hit anthem, “How You Like Me Now,” is somehow even more ubiquitous now than it was at the height of its chart run, and the Heavy just released their third album, Wisconsin Death Trip.
