Description
Squeeze wasn't a ska band, but they couldn't have existed without it. I will bet money that it's just as easy to skank to "Cool For Cats" as anything that came out of the 2-Tone movement. The band had broken up twice, and been gone (but not forgotten) for nearly a decade by the time they re-united in 2007. In the meantime, their hits like "Tempted" "Hourglass" and "Black Coffee in Bed" became staples of modern rock. They play this show with the B-52s, who have strangely become a summer staple in the South Bay. - Steve Palopoli sanjose.com
