The Peninsula Banjo Band presents the 40th Anniversary of Banjo Jubilee from September 8 through 9 at the San Jose Airport Garden Hotel.
The two-day banjo festival consists of the following.
Saturday afternoon includes jam sessions and a banjo workshop.
The Saturday evening banquet includes performances by Tyler Jackson, PBB Director Charlie Tagawa, and PBB member Bill Lowery. There is a post-banquet jam session.
Tickets for Saturday are $50, with a choice of beef, chicken or vegetarian; or $60 would include entrance to Sunday.
On Sunday, doors open at 11am and the highlight show is 12pm to 5 pm. Hall of Fame Banjo Luther Renee Karnes will be performing.
For Sunday general seating tickets are $20 and preferred seating tickets are $50.
Package deals are $50 combination of Saturday and Sunday. The Super Ticket of $100 combination for Saturday and Sunday includes preferred seating on Saturday, and VIP seating for Sunday. The Super Ticket includes preferred seating at the Saturday evening banquet and performance.
