Despite their cred as two of the OGs, it hasn’t always been smooth rollin’ for Kurupt and Dat Nigga Daz; as the duo behind Tha Dogg Pound, they’ve had a lot of ups and downs. First breaking big with Snoop on his classic debut Doggystyle, they released one album, Dogg Food, in 1995, then rapped with 2Pac on his last record, All Eyez on Me. After his death, they got swept up in the drama, with Daz replacing Dr. Dre at Death Row and both of them falling out and in and back out with Suge Knight. It was Snoop who once again brought them together in 2005, and they’ve released two albums since.
