Born in San Jose, where he currently lives and works, Sid Enck Jr is a skateboader who currently runs his own screen printing and art collective called Tea Shack Project. Using various mediums such as wood, paper, found objects and sewing techniques, Sid expresses his passion for all things recycled and reusable. His work takes common objects and reclaims them into detailed observations of his Native American heritage, mixed with hints of his printmaking background. Composed entirely in his garage studio space, the meticulously put together mosaic of squares that comprise each piece tell a story of places lost and a land forgotten.
