Metal used to be ugly. I mean, really ugly. From Lemmy's warts to Udo Dirkscheider's bulbous melon to Mick Mars' complex features to Billy Milano's girth, metal was the music for the rest of us. Sympathy Ends has the chops minus the homeliness. They look nice and dress spiffy, but their music takes the front seat. After going through some member shuffling, they've incorporated a more melodic death metal slant into their already thrash/hardcore sound.
