The Center for Literary Arts of San Jose State University welcomes you to an afternoon and evening with authors Susan Steinberg and Susan Straight.

Susan Steinberg is the author of the short story collections Hydroplane and The End of Free Love, with a third collection, Spectacle, due out very soon. She is also the recipient of a 2012 Pushcart Prize and the 2010 United States Artists Ziporyn Fellowship in Literature.

Susan Straight is the author of Take One Candle Light a Room, which was named one of the best novels of 2010 by The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times and Kirkus. She has also written six other novels, a children's book, and a collection of stories.
