Books, Inc. and The Financial Literacy Project are hosting three free public events on Sunday afternoons in July (12th, 19th, 26th). Each event features 3-5 local financial professionals speaking about topics of broad interest. The presentations are geared toward consumers of all sophistication levels and experience.

The overall theme is "Surviving the Economic Tsunami (and Thriving!)." Subject areas include budgeting, gender and personality as they relate to handling finances, investing, finding jobs in the Bay Area, income taxes and recent developments, safe investments, planning for retirement, teaching kids about money, and family communication about money.
