Acclaimed Britpop band Oasis, known for their hits "Champagne Supernova" and "Wonderwall" saw meteoric rise to fame from 1993-96. Following last month's BBC special, Oasis In Their Own Words, a new documentary, Supersonic, aims to paint a more dispassionate picture of the Gallagher brothers-- whose wild exploits and bitter feuds have often made for British tabloid fodder. Produced by the same team behind Amy, a 2015 documentary on Amy Winehouse, Supersonic will use archival material along with original interviews to unearth the truth behind some of Oasis' most ambiguous lyrics and notorious disputes.
