There are a lot of Christian bands in the South Bay. For whatever reason, most of them are really angry-not so Gilroy's Subvoltage. Just look at the banner picture on the group's Facebook page. These are some happy dudes. The band mission reads: "We are here not to condemn but to testify of what God has done in our lives to inspire a world that is slowly decaying." They also, unlike a good number of the South Bay Christian bands, don't play screamo or hardcore. They play a little rock & roll, pop, metal and reggae, all with positive vibes. Their music is as happy as they are.
