Description
Stringfinger is a 4-piece combo that performs cheeky, acoustic versions of rock classics on ukulele, acoustic guitar, upright bass and percussion and if that weren't enough, they extract the tunes from their perspective genres and force them into genres they were never meant to inhabit. It means taking liberties and also unlearning years of grueling musical training. Words like "authentic", "pure" and "appropriate" have become obsolete because to create something new they need to go towards something that is "as inappropriate as possible". The post-modern world is in development and there is still plenty of wild frontier ahead withnin the wastelands of copyright infringement, mash up and artist as editor.
