| Description Ever seen a Rick Griffin poster? They were those psychedelic hand bills with the trippy writing, usually showcasing the Grateful Dead, Moby Grape and other San Francisco rock bands playing at the Fillmore in the late 60s. The Stone Foxes capture the essence of the great music from that Griffin era. They draw their influences from the uncompromising rock icons of that time period, who themselves were heavily influenced by the blues. Each of the four band members is a singer as well, so they trade off lead vocals throughout their set, and belt out each song as if it was their last. This kind of talent doesn’t come around enough.
