The Pagoda's breakout show as a live music venue was Little Dragon a couple of years ago. So maybe it's karma that they're hosting the newest act to get electro fans all a-twitter on Twitter. Dane Orr and Anna Wise believe in karma, for sure, and if you ask, they'll tell you that their electronic duo Sonnymoon is named after a planet that collided with Earth, and...uh, it gets weirder from there. Luckily, their tongue-in-cheek cosmological ramblings don't keep them from making music that's as catchy as it is trippy. In some ways, they're not so different from Little Dragon, without the pop aspirations. It's pretty music constantly rubbing up against jagged noise and raw beats.
