Description
Imagine participating in a workshop group that isn’t about criticism, approval and ego. Instead, it’s about allowing your story to take shape, in a positive and engaging gathering that takes place once a week, for six weeks.Over the course of 6 weeks, you will gather with other interesting people who, like you, want to write in an inspiring and fun environment.
You’ll be guided by an experienced instructor who will help you write and refine your story.
At the end of the 6 weeks, you will have written a short story (yes, you!), and have become part of a fun and supportive community.
Skywriter Series was founded over four years ago by Holly Payne, acclaimed author of The Virgin’s Knot and The Sound of Blue.
Fall 2008 Instructor: Tom Formaro has taught writing to a wide range of students – from college programs to at-risk youth in San Francisco. He received his M.A. from Iowa State University, and has written and published short stories.
