SIDNEY SAMSON

Responsible for one of the biggest club hits of 2010, Dutch DJ Sidney Samson is one of the most in-demand remixers on the dance scene. Born in 1981, Samson started playing guitar at seven years old, before switching his attention to DJing after watching the DMC Mix Championships at the age of 14. Initially playing R&B and hip-hop tunes, he soon became influenced by the burgeoning Dutch house music scene, and eventually took a residency at the Matrixx nightclub in Amsterdam. After forming his own label, Samsobeats, with collaborator Gregor Salto in 2007, he enjoyed success in his country with several singles. Three years later, a remixed version of "Riverside," featuring Wizard Sleeve, gave him his international breakthrough, reaching number ten in Australia and number two in the U.K., selling 97,000 copies in its first week. Samson has since been working on his debut album and toured the U.S. and Canada, and has remixed tracks for Kylie Minogue, Kelly Rowland, and David Guetta.

When he is not conducting crowds in sun and skin filled pool parties, or headlining animal costume stuffed clubs across the US, Party Favor spends his days in the studio revolutionizing classic house tracks, and drawing up originals of his own. Building early success through remixes of tracks like Swedish House Mafia’s “One” and Laidback Luke’s “Dirty Talk”, the DJ/Producer helped pioneer the festival trap sound, and quickly gained the support of the fellow producers and media alike. Hundreds of thousands of plays later, Party Favor finds himself conquering famous venues such as Dim Mak Studios, Yost Theater, Avalon, Body English and many more across the 50 states. Now fielding calls all over the country to perform, Party Favor has taken the stage alongside the likes of Dillion Francis, Michael Woods, Hook N Sling, Rusko, Ken Loi and others.
