Forget breakfast in bed for mom this year … SF Camerawork has a much more creative and memorable way for families to celebrate Mother’s Day during its extremely popular, annual Portrait Party, held on Mother’s Day weekend, May 10 and 11 from 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day. Nine nationally-recognized fine art photographers will help San Francisco’s only nonprofit gallery and education center dedicated to contemporary photography raise needed funds by creating hip, one-of-a-kind, custom portraits of those fast-acting Bay Area families that sign up first. This year’s photographers include Jay Blakesberg, Lori Eanes, Jessamyn Lovell, Kathrin Miller, Michael Rauner, Mark Richards, Tracy Storer, Audrey Shehyn Vernick and Victoria Yee.More Info
