Despite their coveted spot as one of the greatest indie bands of all time, Husker Du's influence continues to be like the weather - everyone talks about it, but no one does anything about it. Maybe it's because Bob Mould's mix of gruff punk anger and unflinching raw emotion confounds most bands. Cupertino's Seventh Day Breakdown are the rare alt-rockers to actually get it, and not just because of Max Sorg's gravelly vocals.
