On Sunday, July 18th, hundreds of walkers, runners, adults and kids will gather at beautiful Baylands Park in Sunnyvale to participate in Sevathon 2010, celebrating the idea of service and giving back to the community.Featuring a half-marathon, 10K, and 5K races open to runners and walkers, Sevathon is the South Bay’s premier fitness event that focuses on exercising both the body and the soul. Benefiting a wide variety of local nonprofit and charity organizations, the event features a family health and wellness fair, Bollywood dance performances, interactive kids’ activities, and food from across the regions of India, in addition to the walking and running races, all of which offer awards and prizes. Baylands Park offers over seventy acres of developed parkland with pathways and picnic areas.
