Description

Drummer Scott Amendola, who has toured and recorded with Nels Cline, Bill Frisell, Charlie Hunter, Madeleine Peyroux and many others, leads his own trio with bassist John Shifflett and will feature Chicago-based guitarist Jeff Parker, a member of Tortoise and an integral part of Chicago’s AACM. The music is full of extreme dynamic shifts and a crunching rock edge, with Amendola adding textural electronic elements into his trap work.
