Join the Seymour Center on the third Sunday of every month for a public lecture from a marine scientist as they present current research and topics in an entertaining and easy-to-understand format, enlightening photos, videos, and discussions. This month's installment is called "Remember the Titans: Communication and Social Learning Among Northern Elephant Seals," and welcomes Caroline Casey, a Field Research Coordinator at Pinniped Cognition & Sensory Systems Laboratory and the Long Marine Lab at UC Santa Cruz. She will shed light on discoveries made about elephant seals by researchers at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where she works at deciphering social behavior and communicative signals.
