10:30 AM -12:00 PMVinyasa Flow
A sequence of flowing postures, coordinating breath and movement. Modifications are suggested for different levels of students. Students are encouraged to practice at their own level. Knowledge of yoga or vinyasa basics recommended.
4-5 PM
Tai Chi
Tai Chi Ch’uan is the gentle exercise practiced by children as young as six to seniors in their eighties. Tai Chi Ch’uan or simply Tai Chi, starts with easy movements to train and strengthen the body. With daily dedication, the practitioner becomes aware of their bodies and further develop; flexibility, awareness, and their personal Chi. The simple fight between a snake and a crane was the catalyst for a Taoist Monk to blend the original five animals of Kung fu, Yogic practices and Taoist Breathing. He created a non-violent system of combat that has been further refined over the last millennia. Some Tai Chi benefits include: increase body and mental awareness, improve health and focus, reverse the effects of aging.
