San Jose Taiko Public Workshop

Description

San Jose Taiko is offering a workshop to the public, giving participants the opportunity to learn the basics of Taiko Japanese drum style. In this three-hour workshop, the a brief history of the origins of Taiko will be covered, followed by a hands-on look on playing a song based on fundamental stance, rhythms and technique.

Must be at least 15 years or older to participate. No Taiko experience necessary.
