Live performances all by local metal bands, hosted by The Unwilling.The Unwilling:
The Unwilling began in early 2011 with guitarists James Montantes and Dennis Di Cristo writing riffs in James' music studio. Around the same time, drummer Jamie Ruzzo got in the mix, throwing fast, brutal beats to our comprised riffs and improvised jams. The three of them saw potential in their music and eventually those riffs turned into full length songs. Seeing Lay in Ruin in its semi-finished form made them even more determined to write more songs, and complete their band. Having almost 4 complete tracks, near the end of 2011 they named themselves the Unwilling. Still only a three piece, ventured out for a bass player and a singer. Picking up JC on vocals in January 2012 only made their sound more complete. Still minus the low-end, they continued to improve their music, while still looking for that last member of the band. In April of 2012 they would pick up bass player Joseph Guerra and begin their metal journey as a complete, five piece, bay area metal band.
