Join the San Jose Chamber Orchestra as they perform at the beautiful Le Petit Trianon Theatre. Event though influential composer Lou Harrison has been dead for nearly a decade, his music remains vital in its bridging of styles across the Pacific Rim and use of unusual instruments. For their first concert of 2013, the San Jose Chamber Orchestra will perform Kerry Lewis' "Elegy for Lou Harrison", a piece chosen from the ensemble's Encore Contest, and will feature pianist Gwendolyn Mok and violinist Cynthia Baehr.
