Description
Rocket is an alternative queer dance floor experience happening every fourth Saturday at Rickshaw Stop that is sure to ignite all your senses.Drawing on their years of immersion in underground party scenes from San Francisco to New York to Germany, resident DJs Mat dos Santos, Brian Maier, Trevor Sigler, and David Sternesky lovingly curate a unique selection of house and techno music each month that guarantees liftoff on the dancefloor.
But Rocket is more than just a dance party; it’s an immersive aesthetic experience dedicated to the celebration of queer art and community. To that end, Rocket’s $7 cover serves to raise funds for the Astropups Burning Man camp. The collective also routinely collaborates with Comfort & Joy, Camp Mystopia, Camp Full Serve Self Serve, and more.
The resulting experience is simply out of this world.
