Description
Swedish pop star, Robyn, began her career at an early age with a debut album of R&B-influenced pop in 1995. Her catchy summery melodies became world-wide hits. In 2005, Robyn transformed her music with a major shift to an innovative and modern synth pop style. After battling record companies to redefine her sound, Robyn started up her own Konichiwa Records and funded her next record herself. Her collaborators included electro duo The Knife, dance producer Andreas Kleerup and Klas Ahlund of the Teddybears. The self-titled album, “Robyn”, earned several Swedish Grammys and had a hit single in the U.K. The album will be released in the U.S. in April.
