Experience some of the most exciting Bay Area jazz musicians in beautiful Golden Gate Park.
Richard Howell is a lively force on the local scene, tirelessly devoted to spreading the jazz gospel, with an accent on African influences and spontaneous creativity. His Coltrane-inspired saxophone playing is in high demand - he's been hired by Etta James, Cecil Taylor, Don Cherry, Buddy Guy, among many others. His all-star closely knit quintet match their powerful stage presence with equal parts spirituality and meditation.
