The UCSC Center for Visual and Performance Studies presents a lecture with Rebecca Schneider entitled "Acting in Ruins". Rebecca Schneider is Chair of the Brown University Department of Theatre Arts and Performance Studies, teaches performance studies, theater studies, and theories of intermedia. She is also the author of The Explicit Body in Performance and Performing Remains: Art and War in Times of Theatrical Reenactment.
