Description
Denis Johnson will be doing a reading of his selected work followed by a book signing at San Jose State Universities Concert Hall. The event is with the cooperation of the Center for Literary Arts and The Martha Heasley Cox Lecture Series.Johnson is the author of seven novels, one collection of stories, five books of poems, and numerous plays. He has been the recipient of a Lannan Fellowship and a Whiting Writers' Award. His novel Tree of Smoke won the 2007 National Book Award and was a Finalist for the 2008 Pulitzer Prize.
