Description
Poetry Santa Cruz comes to Bookshop Santa Cruz for a discussion with authors James Arthur, Natalie Diaz, and Tomas Q. Morin. James Arthur is a recipient of the Amy Lowell Travelling Poetry Scholarship and a Wallace Stegner Fellowship in Poetry, and has had his poems published in The New Yorker, The New Republic, Poetry, Ploughshares, and The American Poetry Review. Natalie Diaz is the author of the poetry collection When My Brother Was an Aztec, and was awarded the 2012 Narrative Prize for her poem "Downhill Triolets." Tomas Q. Morin is the recipient of scholarships from the Fine Arts Work Center, Bread Loaf Writer's Conference and the New York State Summer Writers Institute. His poems have appeared in New England Review, Narrative, Boulevard, Slate, Threepenny Review, and Best New Poets.
