Description
Each week, The International Culinary Center hosts its newest recreational classes, a Food and Wine Pairing Series composed of wine tasting seminars and tutored pairing dinners. During the month of August, we highlight wines from Sonoma County.August 13: Authentic Sonoma Coast Wines
With special guest from Red Car Wine, founder/winemaker Carroll Kemp
Explore a range of bottles in a lecture led by Master Sommelier Roland Micu, Certified Sommelier Laurie Lindrup, and Red Car's founder and winemaker, Carroll Kemp. Afterward, proceed to The International Culinary Center's private dining room—the Monte Bello. You'll enjoy a three-course wine pairing dinner, prepared by our students, and Laurie and Carroll will be on hand to discuss each of their handpicked wine selections
Red Car uses the best cool-weather Sonoma Coast fruit, along with a hands-off winemaking model, to create wines that are true to their varietal. Named for the romantic trolleys that ran through Los Angeles from the late 19th-century through the early 1960’s, Red Car transports you straight to the vineyard through every swirl, sniff, and taste.
