My Heavy Memory:
Hailing from the Bay Area My Heavy Memory founders Todd Galland and Eddie Koeller set out to create a band that got back to basics and left the showoff stuff for the shredders. Lets get back to pounding drums, in your face guitars, tasty bass lines and lyrics that get you thinking. "We want a father and son to come to the show and both be entertained" and local promotors agree that its working. Their sound is truly a perfect blend between old school metal and current hard rock stylings. Not a whole lot of pure Hard Rock bands anymore until now. We highly recommend this disk to anybody into Rock or Metal, give it a test listen on their website.

Field of Stones:
Described as a whiskey-rocking, riff pounding, powerhouse of a band, FIELD OF STONES taps into various styles of music to deliver their brand of hard rock/metal. Influenced by bands such as Black Sabbath, Pantera & Alice in Chains, FIELD OF STONES is heavy enough for the guys but has a melodic edge that the ladies enjoy.

Since their inception in 2008, FIELD OF STONES has raged venues throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and has shared the stage with bands such as Dublin Death Patrol, House of Broken Promises & White Which Canyon. In December 2011, FIELD OF STONES digitally released a 3 song demo that contains the song “Bleeding”, which has been played on FM radio, 107.7 THE BONE.

In March 2012, FIELD OF STONES entered the Hard Rock Rising contest and received enough votes to perform in the semi final round at the Hard Rock Cafe in San Francisco. Revitalized with a new guitarist, FIELD OF STONES is currently writing new material for a full length CD that is scheduled for release in 2013.

RetConStruct:
RetConStruct (Retroactive Continuity Construct) brings together symphonic thrash metal and cinematic industrial soundscapes with lyrics that the audience to the end of this world and beyond space and time.

Their debut album Dear Doomsday (2012) was an electronic tidal wave, heavily science fiction inspired and fit for the dancefloor. Upcoming sophomore album Denizens of the Depths (TBD 2013) keeps those roots and expands with themes pulled from mythology and a growth in style, incorporating guitar driven tracks and increased symphonic elements.

2012 also took the band from recording artists to performing artists. Several concerts along the USA west coast unfolded, spanning from Seattle, WA, to Tijuana, MX with great success in LA, CA all in the first half of the year. RetConStruct is ready to rock further with the recent addition of live band members on drums and bass guitar.

PDR:
Patryk's musical journey began with his father, an accomplished accordionist from Akron, Ohio. There was an antique upright piano in the deRosa family basement and the two would sit while Dad played through and explained jazz standards late
into the evening. Then, he would get out his Italian, hand-made accordion. This was a sound Patryk recalls fondly. "It sounded so rich, just wonderfully huge. My Dad played through a 1958 Ampeg B-15N amplifier, as this was common for
professional accordion players." This was Patryk's first amp to use. "Dad can play these gorgeous chords and passages." Patryk also took piano lessons from a neighborhood teacher, Mrs. Berge. It was trumpet lessons in the 4th grade and finally guitar on his own terms, saving $30 from his paper route to purchase his first axe. An electric guitar was his 15th birthday present, along with a practice amp. A new world opened up, as he discovered the riffs of KISS, Toto, Ozzy Osbourne, Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, and Motley Crue. Early gigs were with a local mariachi group, Alma Latina, playing weddings and festivals. There were jazz groups and rock cover bands in high school. Attending a Northern Arizona University jazz camp one summer on a scholarship, he started to formulate ideas for his own compositions, using a combination of jazz, classical and rock influences. More interest and influences from instrumental and progressive bands started to develop, including John Goodsall of Brand X and the Fire Merchants, Scott Henderson of Tribal Tech, Chick Corea, Allan Holdsworth, National Health, Bill Connors, Frank Zappa, Rush, Steve Morse, Dixie Dregs, Jason Becker, Greg Howe, Al diMeola, Yngwie Malmsteen, Jeff Beck, Joe Satriani, and Steve Vai.

Upon graduating from high school, Patryk attended and graduated from NAU with a BA in Creative Arts. While an undergraduate, he formed his first original power trio, The Wee Lads. They would perform statewide across Arizona and land some local radio spots, including airing on the classic rock FM station KUPD. Studying under world-class classical guitar instructor Tom Sheeley, Patryk would perform his repertoire at local coffee houses, catered parties, and country clubs. Moving to Ohio proved advantageous to develop a darker metal sound, joining LOUD, a Canton-based extreme metal act. A permanent move to the San Francisco bay placed Patryk on the west coast once again, where he would acquire his first 7-string guitar; which would become his forte instrument and join the Santa Cruz-based metal band Skinfile in 2002. PDR was officially formed in 2007 and has released 4 full-length albums to date, available through indie artist distributor CD Baby. Each release shows a different, constantly evolving sound, yet embodying a focus on the spirit of Patryk's passion: thick, 7-string, drop-tuned, largely overdriven, classical and blues-based shred compositions to rock the world. Patryk and his band perform regularly across the San Francisco bay and have recently expanded to further-reaching points to help "spread the shred" to all.
