Description
From Italian horror maestro Dario Argento comes the finale to his Three Mothers trilogy, which began with Suspiria thirty years ago and continued with Inferno. When an urn is turned over to a Rome museum where Sarah (Asia Argento) is studying art restoration, the seal of the urn is broken, restoring powers to the Mother of Tears—the cruelest and most beautiful witch in the world. Soon, Sarah's colleague meets a gory death at the hands of demons, and havoc explodes in the streets of Rome as a wave of suicide and violent crime heralds the dark priestess's rebirth. Pursued by the witches who descend upon the city to pay homage to their queen, Sarah is aided by an old priest (Udo Kier) and the ghost of her mother (Daria Nicolodi).
