Montalvo Summer Series Announcedby Michael S. Gant on Apr 28, 2009The Montalvo Arts Summer Concert Series at the Garden Theatre, presented by Live Nation was announced this week. The summer music gets under way June 3 with Julio Iglesias, followed by the Wallflowers (June 17). The performers for July are Dave Koz and Brian Culbertson (July 10), Kenny G (July 16), the Cowboy Junkies and Son Volt (July 17), Ozomatli (July 18), Jewel (July 21) and Boney James and Fourplay (July 24). The August highlights are blues great Buddy Guy (Aug. 15) and folk icon Joan Baez (Aug. 19). Peter Frampton performs Sept. 13. The shows hover in the $40–$80 range. Tickets go on sale May 11 at 10am through Ticketmaster.
