Michael Nesmith is a musician, songwriter, actor, producer, novelist, businessman, and philanthropist, best known as a former member of the musical group, The Monkees, and co-star of The Monkees TV series. Throughout his illustrious career, he has written and performed in a variety of genres, including rock, pop, country, folk and more. In more recent years, Michael Nesmith has embarked on various solo tours, even a brief reunion tour with The Monkees, and has served as a producer for blues singer and songwriter, Carolyn Wonderland.
