DIANA KENNEDY, world renowned cookbook author and historian of Mexican culinary traditions, will appear at the Capitola Book Café as she tours the U.S. to promote the re-issue of her landmark cookbook, The Art of Mexican Cooking.For fifty years Diana has crisscrossed her adopted country with zeal, promoting and protecting the art of traditional Mexican cooking and spreading the word of ecological responsibility.
Long-time fans and new converts alike are welcome to meet Diana on Sunday, June 1, at 5:30pm at the Capitola Book Café 1475 41st Ave. in Capitola. She will speak, take questions fromt he audience, and sign books. Various dishes from the book will be available for tasting.
