Description
Come dance and draw the night away with East Bay zine collective Rock Paper Scissors. The floors, ceilings, ramps, and nooks of Gallery B will be covered in paper for your drawing pleasure. Artist DJs will be spinning tunes while we cover the blank space with marker. You are invited to draw and then dance, to dance and then draw, or to do both at the same time! The artwork will remain on display through the weekend. The event will also feature zines from the RPS archive, special artist-commissioned multiples, and instructional zine-making videos. Come and leave your mark in the museum!Preceded at 6 p.m. by one of our favorite KALX DJs spinning in the lobby, where wine and beer are available for purchase.
General admission to the BAM galleries is just $5 after 5 p.m. Show your ticket for a same-day PFA screening or gallery visit and get in free. Admission is always free for BAM/PFA members and UC Berkeley students, faculty, and staff.
