LOCAL SAXMAN Mark Russo has toted his instrument around the region, from the Monterey Jazz Festival to just about every winery with a performing-arts series. For the summer Flavors of Jazz series at Santana Row, Russo bring his multipurpose trio to Amber India Restaurant for an early evening concert of swing and Latin jazz. With luck, Mark will play selections from his new CD, Casual Instincts.

THE MARK RUSSO TRIO performs Tuesday (July 21), 6:30�8:30pm, at Amber India Restaurant, 377 Santana Row, San Jose. Admission is free.
