Description
The Marin Arts Council has announced its downtown San Rafael gallery will remain open through July 12 and will serve as a venue for music, dance, poetry, theatre presentations and art events.Admission to some of the events will be free. Other events will request donations or charge a nominal fee with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Marin Arts Council.
Through July 12 - ZBITS – Mini art exhibits: Meet artists and see mini exhibits of their art work at ZBITS events featuring four artists per day. Two artists featured 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesdays – Sundays.Two artists featured 2:30 to 6 p.m. Wednesdays – Sundays. Extended hours are 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursdays for Fourth Street Farmers Market event.
Tickets: FREE! Donations accepted
June 19 & 20 – Music, Dance Poetry: A production featuring Spoken Word Poet Clair Blotter, guitarist Tim Weed and VaBang! Dance Company. Performances 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday
Tickets: $15 MAC members and students, $20 general
